The 13th European Conference on Product and Process Modeling 2020-2021 (ECPPM 2021)
The 13th European Conference on Product and Process Modeling 2020-2021 (ECPPM 2021) was held from September 15 to 17, 2021.
Over the past quarter century, the biennial conference series, as the oldest BIM conference, had provided researchers and practitioners with a unique platform to present and discuss the latest developments regarding emerging BIM technologies and complementary issues for their adoption in the AEC/FM (Architecture, Engineering, Construction and Facilities Management) industry. The ECPPM 2021 conference was hosted online by the Department of System Integration and Multi-Disciplinary Collaborative Environments of the Ivannikov Institute for System Programming of the Russian Academy of Sciences
Articles from a wide range of thematic areas were devoted to critical issues that arise on the current path of digital transformation in the construction industry. Published by CRC Press/Balkema the book “eWork and eBusiness in Architecture, Engineering and Construction 2021” collected the papers presented at the ECPPM 2021 conference and represents a rich and comprehensive resource for academics, researchers and professionals working in the interdisciplinary areas of BIM.
The Committee was organized under the leadership of Chairperson Raimar Scherer – Prof. Dr.-Ing. of the Institute of Construction Informatics at the Technical University Dresden (Germany) and Vice Chairperson Vitaly Semenov – Prof. Dr. of the Department of System Integration and Multi-Disciplinary Applied Systems at the Ivannikov Institute for System Programming of the Russian Academy of Sciences (Russia). The local organizing Committee of ECPPM 2021 worked under the leadership of the Chairman, Vera Galishnikova, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Prof., Vice-Rector for International Cooperation of Moscow State University of Civil Engineering (National Research University) – MGSU (Russia).
