"According to the results of the last admission campaign, almost 2 thousand African students entered the budget places in Russian higher education institutions," - said the leading Russian news Agency TASS. There are 147 students from 24 countries of the African continent studying at NRU MGSU. In 2019, more than 50 students from 20 African States are accepted for the first year: Algeria, Egypt, Eritrea, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Morocco, Angola, Benin, Burundi, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Congo, Côte d'Ivoire, Chad, Togo, Nigeria, Somalia, Niger, Rwanda, Ethiopia and South Africa. During the training, students will be able to realize their scientific and creative potential, undergo practical training in the leading construction organizations of Russia and become highly qualified and popular specialists. Training at NRU MGSU will allow them to obtain qualifications in various areas of training, including architecture, construction, management and applied mechanics. Construction professions will be relevant at all times: cities are growing, the population is increasing. The construction work involves not only residential premises, but also infrastructure, schools, medical facilities, shopping centers and roads. This is especially true in Africa. "In many African countries, there is a whole range of problems in the field of housing construction. Namibia is no exception, where there is a shortage of housing. ... - Guests from the African continent will take with them from Sochi a solid case of proposals for the development of mutually beneficial cooperation with Russia. What plans for cooperation between Russia and Africa are planned to be implemented in the near future? ... Most of the countries targeted for participation in joint projects for housing construction and development of utilities. So, with the Minister of public works and housing of Ghana, we have an understanding about the need for participation of Russian developers in the projects of the Department. It was told in an interview with TASS at the forum Russia–Africa Minister of construction and housing and public utilities of the Russian Federation Vladimir Yakushev. The future of African students depends on the atmosphere of kindness, participation and support. Therefore, NRU MGSU has created a comfortable educational environment in which African students will be able to study, interact in the youth student environment, as well as establish social ties with the urban community. The faster students learn Russian, the faster they will adapt to the new society. At the moment, the practice of teaching African students, in accordance with their cultural characteristics, is beginning to take shape. The graduates from African countries will have the opportunity to become potential business partners of Russian companies and organizations, which in international cooperation will give priority to Russian partners.
